Meet Maddie and Paul
Maddie Kleinhofs
Maddie is a clinical hypnotherapist whose calm, grounded presence creates the conditions for deep and lasting inner change.
Hypnotherapy, in Maddie’s hands, is nothing like the stage show version most people imagine. It is a calm, therapeutic process — you remain aware and in control throughout — that works directly with the unconscious mind to shift the patterns, fears, and blocks that conscious effort alone can’t always reach.
Maddie brings a quiet steadiness to everything she does. Her clients describe feeling safe, heard, and genuinely supported — and leaving sessions and retreat days feeling lighter, clearer, and more themselves.
She co-created Phoenix Rising because she believes that real transformation happens best in community — when people come together in a well-held space and give themselves permission to change.

Paul Stevenson
Paul has spent years helping people cut through the noise, reconnect with what matters, and move forward with real clarity and confidence.
His background is in coaching and NLP — Neuro-Linguistic Programming — one of the most practical and effective tools available for shifting the patterns and beliefs that keep people stuck. He works with people who are done with feeling held back and ready to do something about it.
Paul’s approach is warm, direct, and refreshingly human. He doesn’t do jargon, he doesn’t do performance, and he doesn’t believe in making change harder than it needs to be. What he does do is create the conditions for real, lasting shifts — in how people think, how they feel, and how they show up in their lives.
Outside of Phoenix Rising, Paul works with individual clients through his coaching practice Pulse Proactive, helping people reconnect with their purpose and build lives that actually fit them.

Together
Phoenix Rising days are co-delivered by Maddie and Paul, with additional practitioners joining for specific elements of the day.
The result is a day that moves between depth and lightness, structure and spaciousness, insight and feeling — held by people who genuinely care about what happens in the room.
This is not a production. It is not a performance. It is two practitioners who believe in what they do, creating the best possible conditions for real change to happen.
